The Bobtail Squid. Pretty little thing. Bobtail Squids are an order of cephalopods known as Sepiolida. Their vibrant colours are partly because of the symbiotic relationship they have with bioluminescent bacteria, and partly because of the pigments they, like many other cephalopods, have in their tissues. Growing between 1-8 cms, they live in shallow waters of the Pacific.
